High-adrenaline aerial feats were not the
only thing on the agenda at the FAI World
Air Games. The event also attracted world-
leading health and aviation experts, in Dubai
to attend the International Symposium on Air
Sport Medicine. More than 100 delegates from
around the world were in attendance for the
two-day conference, which was part of the
Games.
PILOTS OF THE FUTURE
Dr Melchor Antunano, Director of the
Civil Aerospace Medical Institute, gave
the inaugural lecture, describing how
advances in nanotechnology, genomics,
and neurotechnology will influence pilot
performance in the future.
