Parallel Precision Tasks
PARALLEL SLALOM
Helicopter competition was all about precision
tasks in Dubai, with pilots competing in
Parallel Slalom and Parallel Fender tasks over
four days. Parallel Slalom sees two helicopters
going head-to-head against each other. Each
pilot and co-pilot works together to weave
their way around a course of gates just one
metre wide – all while carrying a full bucket of
water below. At the end the pilot must put the
bucket on the table, without spilling a drop.
