NEW FORMAT
A new type of microlight task was launched at
the Games. Pilots had to fly a zig-zag course
close to spectators instead of up high and far
away. Event director Rob Grimwood said: “It
really gives the spectators a great show.” Pilots
flew a course made up of a series of inflatable
pylons in the dunes.
