AIRSPACE (AEG)

−− Build a working relationship with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).

−− Challenge the FAI Members to cooperate on exchanging information about best practices.

−− Start a written survey by the FAI Members and the Air Sports Commissions about their

main problems in airspace and analyse the results.

IT (ITEG)

−− Define and plan data access methods to access information in the Sporting Licence Database

and the Office database.

EDUCATION (EEG)

−− Raise the awareness for the FAI Young Artists Contest and promote it to increase the number

of participating countries.

−− Analyse and define possibilities for new youth contests.

−− Set up a program for trainees to attend FAI meetings such as those of the Air Sports Commissions.

−− Suggest further tasks in education issues.

REGULATION (REG)

−− Create the first formal issue of the FAI Critical Regulations Position Document.

−− Identify a list of 2-3 critical regulation areas.

SAFETY (SEG)

−− Continue the work on FAI Safety Policy.

−− Continue the work on the FAI Common Safety Initiative.

−− Continue the evaluation and refinement (if advisable) of the Improve Safety through Shared

Responsibility– ISSR.

NEW TECHNOLOGY (NTEG)

−− Find improved solutions for live tracking and public presentation.

−− Establish new minimum requirements for flight evidence.

−− Improve the reliability of measurement methods (altitude, speed, distance).

−− Establish recommendations for technicians and developers to execute the NTEG tasks.

−− Give the Air Sports Commissions and FAI General Commission a report on possible changes

needed to the Sporting Code.

NAVIGATION (NEG)

−− Provide a report with recommended FAI guidelines regarding the different cockpit-avionic systems

for sports aircraft.

−− Monitor the development of a “see and avoid” concept for the integration of Unmanned Aerial

Vehicles (UAVs) in the civil airspace.
