- Bartholomeu Lourenco de Gusmão (1686-1724) (Brazil)

- Michio Kanda (Japan)
- Russian balloonist Fedor Konyukhov awarded FAI - Breitling Pilot of the Year 2016 Award
- Fedor Konyukhov Solo Around-The-World in a Balloon – Official World Record Claims received!
- Fedor Konyukhov completed the solo around the world tour and landed safely in Australia!
- Russian Adventurer Fedor Konyukhov launches Solo Around-The-World Bid
- 21 May 2000: The Story of Lindsay Muir's Hot Air Balloon World Record
