Tochigi Hot Air Balloon International Championship

The Tochigi Hot Air Balloon International Championship will take place in Tochigi, Japan, in November (18th to 23th November 2010).

This event also includes the final round of the 2010 Hot Air Balloon HONDA Grand Prix . 29 pilots are going to compete in the Tochigi International championship while 21 teams are participating to the Honda Grand Prix.

Schedule
The Event will run from Thursday 18th November 2010 until Tuesday 23rd November 2010. The last competition flight will be held in the morning of Tuesday 23rd November 2010, unless the minimum tasks have not been achieved in which case the last competition flight will be held in the evening, Tuesday, 23rd November 2010. The Award “Sayonara” Party will be on the same evening.

Officials
The Event Director is Les PURFIELD (GBR), with two Deputy Director, Debbie SPAETH (USA) and Hiromori SOEJIMA (JPN). The Jury President is Thomas FINK (GER) while Safety Officer is Hans AKERSTEDT (SWE).
