Poland bid to host the 15th FAI World Helicopter Championship

The Bid brings forward the next World Championship by 1 year thus avoiding any conflict with any World Air Games proposals for 2015. The FAI Rotorcraft Commission meets in March 2013 to consider this offer. Tony Iberler, youngest pilot ever to participate in a world helicopter competition

In 2012, still aged 17, he was selected as a member of the German National Team participating in the 14th FAI World Helicopter Championship, Moscow. David Monks has flown the FAI On-line Helicopter Competition in one minute and 17 seconds scoring 290 points out of a possible 300 points. Caroline Gough-Cooper was in the cockpit as crewman. The event was scored and witnessed by three international judges - Roy Harford, Julian Darker and Arno Glover. Youngest helicopter pilots qualified for the 14th FAI World Helicopter Championship
