13.00 26 November   An invitation has been issued to all registered participants, officials and judges of DIPC5 to the use of the Dubai Wind Tunnel FREE OF CHARGE tonight, 26th Nov, from 18.00 to 21.00 on a first come first served basis. (click here for the full details)

During the afternoon we were entertained by the men on the water jets practicing for their displays during the coming competition.  Spectacular and a little noisy.

A total of 330 jumps were made today, a mixture of Accuracy Landing, Formation Skydiving and Canopy Formation.

The manifest will open at 8.00 tomorrow morning.  The forecast is for low winds in the morning increasing during the day.

 11.00 26 November  - Jumping commences with Formation Skydiving teams taking the opportunity to practice.  The Event Judges for Formation Skydiving, Karla Cole and Canopy Formation, Bernard Nicolas have issued the following proposed training jumps.  although teams do have the opportunity to have any jump judged (providing it is downloaded) after the sequence has been handed to the Event Judge.

 
10.00  26th November

Today practice will continue when the winds drop!  Over 200 competitors are due to arrive today, so activity on the drop zone will certainly increase.  At the moment it is a little like being in limbo as every station, Riggers for the Gear Check, Registration for the final paperwork, Manifest for the practice jumps, are waiting for the influx.   For those working as the technical support staff at this event the message on the hording could not be truer.

As you can imagine they have been busy in the Registration office today.
