Safety Notice – F2B Electric Powered Model Aircraft

There have been recent instances of electric powered F2B model aircraft starting up and moving forward on their own after landing. It is clear that this is particularly dangerous when the pilot has laid down his handle and is, therefore, no longer in control of his model.

It is strongly recommended that once the aircraft has landed and rolled to a stop it should be restrained by another person whilst the pilot still has control of the aircraft. The aircraft should continue to be restrained until the electric motor has been properly disconnected and the aircraft rendered safe.
