2015 FAI European Championships for Space Models Get a Logo

The Spacemodelling Sport Federation of Ukraine and their sponsor, Noosphere Ventures USA inc, have presented the new logo of the 2015 FAI European Championships for Space Models which will take place in Ukraine.

The logo captures the dynamic nature at the heart of space-modelling along with the singleness of purpose that drives every rocketry enthusiast to reach for the stars.

As the organisers said, the logo’s coloured lines represent the variety of rockets' classes used in competitions and the slogan, “Overcoming gravity” epitomises the goals of this particularly challenging aeronautical sport.

After all, that is why space modellers do it: to overcome one law of physics through the scientific application of others.

The Ukrainian flag represents the honour of the country hosting the 2015 FAI European Championships for Space Models.

It is hoped that this logo will become a memorable symbol for the world of spacemodelling and will be a good sign of successful Championships next year in Ukraine.
