Gold Medal for Wolf Dietrich Tesar

The Director of the recent Austrian National Open Helicopter Championships, Wolf Dietrich Tesar, has been awarded, by the Chancellor of Austria, the Gold Medal for Austrian National Championship Organisers. He is the first person to be awarded this medal. As well as Austrian delegate, Wolf Dietrich Tesar is also Technical Director to CIG. FAI joins with me in congratulating Wolf Dietrich Tesar on his award of the Austrian Federal Sport Organisation's Gold Medal for successfully planning and organising Helicopter Championships. He was nominated by the Chancellor of Austria. Wolf Dietrich Tesar has been a keen supporter of helicopter sports, responsible for leading a team, in 2002, that hosted the most successful World Helicopter Championships ever. Only a matter of a few weeks ago, he organised the Austrian Open Helicopter Championships which attracted a crowd of 25,000.
