The Bréguet Dorand aircraft was an experimental helicopter which was built in the Gyroplane Laboratoire in France.
Already after a short time the first records were set: One of them celebrates its 80 years anniversary today, when test pilot Maurice Claisse flew 158m and set an FAI World Record in Altitude for Rotorcraft on 22 September 1936.
