Main decisions taken at the FAI Rotorcraft Commission 2014 Annual Meeting

The 2014 Annual Meeting of the FAI Rotorcraft Commission (CIG) was held on 6 and 7 March 2014 in Lausanne (Switzerland).

Here are the main decisions that have been taken during the meeting:

Future competition

15th FAI World Helicopter Championship

Awarded to : Gdynia – Kosakowo airport (POL)
Dates : 12-16 August 2015
OA : Marcin SZAMBORSKI (delegate)
Jury: HAMILTON (NZL), GEISSLER (GER), TESAR (AUT)
Chief Judge: PERPLIES (GER)
Deputy Chief Judge: Alan NORRIS (GBR)

National championships will take place at the same airfield (test event) from 13 to 17 August 2014.

Sporting Code Changes

Amendments to Sporting Code Section 9 have been approved.

Awards

There were no nominations in 2014.

The Commission agreed to produce an " Red Book" or Gold Rotorcraft Medal Book which will contain details of every CIG Gold medal winner.
