Main decisions taken at the FAI General Aviation Commission 2013 Annual Meeting

Here are the main decisions that were taken during the meeting:

Future competitions

2014

Preliminary bids:

  • 2015: 22nd FAI World Precision Flying Championship, in Skive, Denmark
  • 2016: 20th FAI World Rally Flying Championship, in Santa Cruz, Portugal
  • 2017: 23rd FAI World Precision Flying Championship, in Spitzerberg, Austria

Bids for 2015 and 2016 will be presented at the next GAC plenary.

Sporting Code Changes

Few minor changes.

For Rally Flying : fine tuning according to lessons learnt from the first “Advanced” category world championship ever organised. This second competition category is aimed to attract younger crews and new countries developing General Aviation competitions.

Award

The Charles Lindbergh General Aviation Diploma was awarded to Jesus Mas Menargues (ESP).
