After two difficult days in marginal soaring conditions, the 15m Class has now achieved 9 contest days and the 18m and Open Classes 8 contest days.
Three French pilots, Christophe Ruch, Denis Guerin and Louis Bouderlique, lead in the 15m class. Two Polish pilots, Karol Staryszak and Zbigniew Nieradka, head the 18m rankings, closely followed by the IGC Secretary, Peter Eriksen of Denmark.
In the long wingspan Open Class, Markus Frank of Germany in the EB 29 is ahead of the young French star Killian Walbrou and Peter Krejcirik, Czech Republic. Full results are available here.
Today, Thursday 11th August is a rest day, with cold, wet weather covering the region. The organisers hope that thing will improve for the two final contest days on Friday and Saturday. In the meantime, today's task is a visit to the nearby geothermal baths to warm up...
