Dynamic-judges

Friday 14th October

Yesterday afternoon we were treated to some great flying from the Dynamic 2-Way teams and by the end of the day were able to complete all three qualifying rounds. Here's a shot of some of the Dynamic Judges - clearly deep in discussion! As we've seen, the audience is a great barometer of performance and their enthusiasm is contagious. The addition of the free round added another measure to the already exciting flying.

08.05hrs: We're up and running! The competition started dead on 08.00hrs - with the Republic of South Africa's 4-Way team 'Jazz Republic' first into the tunnel (pic above!).

09.30hrs: There's a buzz in the air and it's not just from the tunnel fans! This discipline has encouraged an enormous following, which is evidenced by numbers of competitors registered - check out the Delegations pages HERE.

WCIS - 2016, Countdown

With two days to go before the start of the next FCE, the 2nd World Cup of Indoor Skydiving. the tension is building.

Many teams are already in Warsaw having taken part in the Flyspot Polish Open Nationals or there to train; others are on their way or doing their final preparations before travelling. A very exciting time for all the 300 + athletes that have registered. The complete delegation list is now published - although, as always, this may be subject to change right up until the competition officially starts.

In all there are 28 Nations registered, and two that I believe are attending their first FAI/IPC First Category Event (at least in my memory) - Latvia and Singapore - WELCOME. In all 5 more than entered the 1st World Championships in Prague last year. This is definately a fast growing aspect of our sport.
