Horacio Llorens (ESP) flying in Pakistan 2011Winner of the solo Paragliding Aerobatics World Cup tour in 2008 and 2010, and either first or second in the FAI PG Aerobatics Ranking since 2008, Horacio Llorens is one of the stars of this young discipline.

His aerobatics heritage is second to none as he is a cousin of the famous acro duo, the Rodriguez brothers, and was taught to fly by their father, Felix Rodriguez at the age of 15. In those early years, back in the late 1990s, he was flying cross country, but soon followed his cousins into the acro side of the discipline.

He has been competing in the PG Aerobabics World Cup tour since since 2001. Podium places came soon after, taking second place at the Red Bull Acro Vertigo in 2002 (synchro with Hernan Pitocco), and also second place in the solo event at the 2002 Red Bull Wings Over Chicago.

By 2003 he was ranked third in the world. In 2006 he came fourth at the 1st FAI World Championships in Villeneuve, Switzerland. In 2007, together with Hernan, they won the World Cup (synchro) tour. In 2011 was placed 5th in the solo World Cup series, and, once again with Hernan, 4th in the synchro series overall.
