General Aviation Commission (GAC)Annual Meeting 2005 in Limassol, Cyprus

The GAC Annual Meeting has been successfully concluded in the beautiful surroundings of Cyprus. The arrangements were excellent and we are very grateful to our Cypriotic hosts. The FAI President honoured the meeting by his presence. New countries to our meetings were Japan and Israel. Some new delegates were also present.A few changes were made to the Precision and RAlly Flying Rules. All officers were re-elected. Complete minutes of what was done and decided will be published shortly and you may find them by clicking the GAC Meetings label in the GAC site map.

The 12th EPFC and 6th ERFC Championships are now underway.The events will start with Precision Flying followed by Rally Flying. The Precision Flying part of the event started officially yesterday, Wednesday 3rd. GAC Centenary Fly-in CANCELLED

Due to the very low number of entries at the time of latest registry, May 21, the board of the GAC has decided to cancel the June 11, 2005 celebratory fly-in at Lausanne.
