Calling Wingsuit competitors, their NAC's and Delegates

It you are planning, thinking about, or hoping to compete at this year's Wingsuit Flying World Cup in Nevada, then now is the time to pre-register - IT DOES NOT COST ANYTHING AT THIS STAGE, but ensures the event and helps the organiser.

The following quote is from the Chair of the Wingsuit Flying Committee - John Smyth

" Please all pre register NOW on the IPC web site  AND confirm as you indicated to me in your E Mails re "intention to participate" under SC5.     No money is required now  BUT if we do not have confirmation of  pre registration this WC is in jeopardy."

The deadline is 31st July - but it does not have to go to the wire!

Breaking News - FCEs in Saarlouis, August 2017

The organiser has now issued an annex to Bulletin 2 (Link Here).

This shows a very healthy provisional participation committments from  23 nations representing a total of 411 competitors.

FS with 30 4-way, 6 Female 4-way, 6 VFS and 7 8-way

AE has 8 freefly teams and 12 Freestyle

CF 7 2-way teams

and Speed 27 competitors.

Although, as you would expect, the majority of NACs are European, there are 4 from other parts of the world - making a competition covering 4 continents!

Looking forward with pleasure and excitement to a stunning world meet - both World Cups and European Championships.

2nd FAI WC in WF - Acrobatic Flying - Deadline Extension for Registration

Following the implementation of SC-S5-4.10 there were less than 4 NAC's registered for the Wingsuit Acrobatic Flying Event at the 2nd World Cup to be held in Overton, Nevada, USA 2017.

The Bureau has issued a statement regarding this and it is available on this website - link here

In effect the event registration deadline has been extended to 31st July 2017 and will take place if a minimum of 3 NACs are registered by that date.

Thanks are due to all the work done by the Organiser, USPA and the chair of the Wingsuit Flying Committee to ensure this event takes place.

2nd FAI World Cup in Wingsuit Flying, Overton, Nevada, USA - 1-9 Nov 2017 _ Bulletin 1

The 5th FCE of the year - filling the skies above Nevada with Wingsuit Flying.

2nd FAI WISC Laval, Quebec, Canada 19-22 Oct, 2017 - Bulletin 1

Bulletin 1 has now been published for the 2nd World Indoor Skydiving Championships to take place in Laval, Quebec, Canada on 19-22 October 2017.

The IPC Bureau has issued the following statement with regard to the 4-Way Indoor Formation Skydiving Junior Event in this competition:

"The Chair of the FS committee received notification of intent from France and Canada and the organisers have also received informal indications from Czech Republic and Singapore that they plan to send teams for the 4-Way IFS Junior event. This means that currently we have four teams (NACs) wishing to compete in the junior competition.

Please be informed, that the position of the IPC-Bureau will be an analogy to that of the CF-event in Saarlouis, in other words, the Junior 4-Way IFS event in Laval will take place and the title of a champion will be awarded, provided a minimum of 3 NACs have entered the event by the final registration date."
