FAI World Air Games Dubai 2015 - Registration VIP Programme

 

Dear All,  

The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale, the World Air Sports Federation, is delighted to welcome you as one of our Personal Guests at the FAI World Air Games Dubai 2015.

This multi-discipline event showcases the best of air sports, all in one location, Dubai. 9 air sports – 22 disciplines – 36 competitions - over 1.000 athletes, the biggest World Air Games ever!

In order to provide you with the best insight and access to FAI World Air Games, we would like to kindly ask for some further information.

PASSPORT:
Please keep in mind to carry your passport at all times with you.

VISA FOR THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES:
Access to Dubai, UAE is usually easy and fast. The visa can be issued upon arrival at Dubai (DXB) airport.
However, please make sure to check any visa requirements beforehand at (or similar pages):

Contact FAI if you need a personal invitation for visa purposes.

ACCOMMODATION:
Rooms are booked at Hotel Ritz Carlton by the FAI. This hotel is located close to the main competition venue.
A private transfer from Dubai airport to the hotel (and from the hotel back to the airport) is arranged.

PICTURES:
Pictures will be taken throughout the programme.
FAI guarantees that they will not be used for commercial purposes. They will be used internally only and not shared with a third party for commercial use.
If for personal reasons, you wish not to be on these pictures, kindly inform us so we can brief our media team.

DRESS CODE:
The average temperature in Dubai in December during the day is expected to be 25° Celsius or around 80° Fahrenheit.
Mornings and evenings can be chilly.
Formal dress code is expected for the Opening Ceremony on 3 December 2015.
For women, please make sure to cover especially shoulders and knees in order to respect the Arabian habits.

APPLICATION THROUGHOUT THE EVENT:
In order to get to know each other before and to provide you with an overview, we have created an application.
We will send you a link to your profile and we would like to kindly ask if you could update the most important information.
This app will allow you to see with whom you will spend exclusive time in Dubai, feel also free to contact persons beforehands.
