CIVL and Flytec to Collaborate on IT

Work on our software has not been satisfying in recent time for various reasons. CIVL Bureau has been looking for solutions and has accepted a proposal from Flytec on a collaboration.

The contract has been extensively discussed by parties involved, including a few lawyers.

It has been signed today, February 11.

We are turning an important page of our history in which the members of the current Software Working Group, and many others before them, have played an important part. To them, thank you, in the name of CIVL Bureau and in the name of all competitors who, without your work, would be turning in circle aimlessly!

Brian Harris, our former Competition Coordinator and Scorer of many Cat 1 and 2, has accepted to help CIVL to define our projects and follow their implementation.

The Software Working Group is suspended for now. We need to see how we progress from here and might decide to re-establish it at a later time if needed.
