Elena Filonova Is CIVL New Administrator

CIVL is happy to announce that it has hired Elena Finova as its Administrator. Her task is to release elected volunteers from administrative tasks and run CIVL on a day-to-day base.

Elena Filonova, by origin Russian living in Italy, has got about 20 years of working experience in various fields. Elena has worked as a journalist, PR and advertisement manager, junior graphic designer, web master, web site administrator and system tester. Her first engagement with sports began when she was part of the international team working on SOCHI-2014 Olympic bid. During past 5 year years she has been engaged in support of Airtribune – competition hosting and live tracking service for free flying pilots. Also she has worked in organization teams at a number of FAI Category 1 and 2 competitions.

Elena Filonova says:  ‘It’s a great honour for me to be selected to work at CIVL. Free flying sports have become my real passion and concern during these years. I’ll use my knowledge for the benefit of CIVL and the pilots’ community, and I will do my best to run the administration and to add my input in promoting our beloved sports to the world.”
