The coming 15th FAI World Paragliding Championships in Monte Avena, Italy, July 1 to 15, 2017, will gather a record number of countries: 50 are preregistered! A true World Championship!
But we also have a record number of preregistered pilots that do not fill the eligibility-to-compete criteria. Said pilots have been included in the first allocation round, but may disappear from the list after the next allocation. This allocation will take part on April 12.
NAC are requested to send to CIVL their request for exemption from eligibility-to-compete criteria before April 9. CIVL Screening Committee will then decide if pilots are accepted or not.
This new deadline for exemption has been approved by the CIVL Bureau and take precedence on the deadline as defined in Section 7A.
Allocation file can be downloaded here.
Please verify your situation and act accordingly. Confirmation of payment transfer must be sent to before April 12, 2017.
Applications with fees paid, but not received or confirmed by the deadline will be refused and corresponding spots will be reallocated.
