Albanian Accuracy Paragliding Worlds Has Started!

Vlora, Albania, is welcoming the 9^th FAI World Paragliding Accuracy Championship from May 5 to 14, 2017, with a record participation of 28 countries represented by 147 pilots, including 32 women.

Another record was for the opening ceremony, shown live on national TV: it lasted one hour and forty-five minutes, with the national anthem of each nation being played while their pilots paraded on stage. Any favourite to win the titles? Not really, as the overall level of the discipline has risen significantly. The results of the first round shows it: 15 zero (bulleye) and 87 pilots on the pad (less than 16 cm from the centre)!
