The 18th Petrovdan Parachuting Cup accuracy competition will take place at Urije Airport, in the city of Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina the 5th July 2013 - 7th July 2013.

Safety Database T&S Committee

databaseThe Safety Database is back on line.  Please please use it and upload all the information you can for 2012 as well as during this coming year.    If you need help or more information or have misplaced your user name or password please arrange for your IPC delegate to e-mail Elisabet Mikaelsson who has done all the work, not only to put it together in the first place, but after the crash to recreate it, and thanks to the support of the IT manager in FAI it is back and working.

Odette Balési-Rousseau : a parachuting pioneer passes away

odette-balesi-rousseau 2It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Balési-Rousseau on 7 December 2012.

Very few are those who had such an eventful and fascinating life as Odette Balési-Rousseau. Her strong character, tenacious will and infallible courage that all of the aviation community vividly remembers made of her one of the most remarkable pioneering women in parachuting.

Tim Mace - FAI Gold Parachuting Medal Recipient

Tim Mace
Tim Mace, (South Africa) is competing at the Mondial in the two demonstration events, Paraski and Speed Skydiving. However, I interviewed him about his award of the FAI Gold Parachuting Medal. This was formally presented to him by Graeme Windsor, IPC President,  at the final medal ceremony of the Mondial. A fitting act of recognition of an outstanding achievement in representing his country in all the Parachuting Disciplines at First Category Events over a period of 27years.
