CIVA Plenary Meeting
The FAI Aerobatics Commission (CIVA) held its Annual Plenary Meeting on 5 and 6 November 2005 in Munich (GER), at the aviation museum in Oberschleissheim, one of the oldest still active airfields in Germany.
Elections
Mr Mike HEUER (USA) was re-elected as the CIVA President. Mr John Louis GAILLARD (RSA), Jiri KOBRLE (CZE) and Osmo JALOVAARA (FIN) were re-elected as 1st, 2nd and 3rd Vice-Presidents, and Mr Karl BERGER as Vice-President (Gliders).

CIVA decided to award the organization of the following competitions to the countries shown :
7th FAI World Advanced Aerobatic Championship, Radom (POL), 2006
8th FAI European Glider Aerobatic Championship, Rybnik (POL), 2006
5th FAI European Advanced Aerobatic Championship, Joensuu (FIN), 2007
12th FAI World Glider Aerobatic Championship, Niederöblarn (AUT), 2007
Awards
The
Leon Biancotto Diploma was awarded for the year 2005 to Mr Jiri KOBRLE (CZE) in recognition of his long and distinguished services to aerobatics.
