Max Bishop elected at IWGA / Max Bishop élu à l'IWGA /
New World Record Claims / Competition Update
Max BISHOP elected IWGA Senior Vice President
The International World Games Association (IWGA) elected yesterday in Seoul (KOR) a new Executive Committee which will serve until 2010.
The new committee comprises :
Ron FROEHLICH, President (Gymnastics)
Max BISHOP, Senior Vice President (Air Sports)
Sue HARVEY, Vice President (Orienteering)
Co KOREN, Secretary General (Tug of War)
Tom DIELEN, Member (Archery)
Rinaldo ORLANDI, Member (Ju-Jitsu)
Bob DE DIE, the former Senior Vice President, and Roland HILFIKER (Air Sports), who stepped down from the committee, were appointed vice president for life and honorary member, respectively.
The World Games is the quadrennial multi-sports event featuring over 30 mainly non-Olympic sports.

L'Association Internationale des Jeux Mondiaux (IWGA) a élu hier à Séoul (KOR) le nouveau Comité exécutif qui sera en fonction jusqu'en 2010.
Le nouveau Comité exécutif est composé de :

Max BISHOP, Senior Vice President (Sports aériens)
Sue HARVEY, Vice Président (Course d'orientation)
Co KOREN, Secrétaire Général (Tir à la corde)
Tom DIELEN, Membre (Tir à l'arc)
Rinaldo ORLANDI, Membre (Ju-Jitsu)
Bob DE DIE, ancien Senior Vice President, et Roland HILFIKER (Sports aériens), se sont retirés du Comité; ils ont été nommés respectivement vice-président à vie et membre honoraire.
Evénement multi-sportif organisé tous les quatre ans, les Jeux Mondiaux regroupent plus de 30 sports non-olympiques.
