World Air Games 2009 logo and English website unveiled
The World Air Games 2009 website has now been published in English. It proudly displays the new logo which was officially launched recently at a ceremony hosted by the World Air Games 2009 organizing committee on the Piazza Castello in Turin. The new logo has been inspired by the Mole Antonelliana building which is a symbol of the city and was named after its designer Alessandro Antonelli. The four elements of the logo can also be interpreted as four wings taking off into the sky.
Czech & Slovak Aerodrome Database
An Aerodrome Database for the Czech and Slovak Republics has been published in English. The publication coincides with the two Republics signing the Schengen agreement, facilitating business and recreational aviation flights from other Schengen area states. Both the Czech and Slovak Republics encourage aviators to visit their beautiful and pilot-friendly countries. The Aerodrome Database is available from the publisher at http://www.aerobaze.cz/pilotshop
