Aerobatics

The Commission urged FAI/NACs to give Aerobatics "some priority attention," given that aerobatics still needs to be legalized in many countries, where no competitions are possible. Special funding for judges' training was approved


Safety

Hang-Gliding & Paragliding safety issues will henceforth be discussed by a sub-committee for each discipline, co-ordinated by a Safety & Training chair who will report to the Bureau. New Terms of Reference will be created


Elections

John Aldridge (GBR) was elected 8th CIVL President, succeeding Flip Koetsier, who was elected President of Honour by acclamation. Two new Vice-Presidents were elected: Igor Erzen (SLO) & Scott Torkelsen (DEN), who was first elected as a Vice President in 2004
