Held in Touzim, Czech Republic, the 17th FAI European Aerobatic Championships kicked off last Thursday and will come to an end on Sunday.
11 countries are participating (Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Russia, Switzerland, United Kingdom), as well as some independent pilots from USA and Spain.
Weather conditions have somewhat disrupted the flow of competitions since the beginning of the Championships but competition flights such as Programme Q and Free Programme (both won by Renaud Ecalle of France, the defending World Aerobatic Champion following his victory in Silverstone in 2009) could still take place.
