How medical technology is helping pilots meet new challenges

23215909540 f34e3b6efd_kHigh-adrenalin aerial feats are not the only thing going on here at the FAI World Air Games. The event has also attracted world-leading health and aviation experts, in Dubai to attend the International Symposium on Air Sport Medicine. 

More than 100 delegates from around the world were in attendance for the two day conference, which is part of the games.

New FAI Anti-Doping Rules to Come into Force on 1 January 2015

The World Anti-Doping Agency approved a new version of its World Anti-Doping Code during their last Conference. This comes into force on January 1st, 2015. This required a revision of the FAI Anti-Doping Rules.  The new code also gave us some extra flexibility with details in our FAI rules. After a thorough and careful review, the FAI Anti-Doping Rules have been approved by WADA and by the FAI Executive Board and will also come into force on January 1st, 2015. Winners of the 2014 FAI Awards and FAI-Breitling Award Announced

The FAI has announced the winners of the 2014 FAI Awards and FAI-Breitling Award, celebrating the outstanding dedication and contribution to air sports.Ryan-CampbellAerobatics pilot Aude Lemordant,

The ceremony took place last night in Pattaya, Thailand, as part of the 108th FAI General Conference which is held today and tomorrow, and hosted by the Royal Aeronautic Sports Association of Thailand (RASAT).

For the first time, live streaming allowed people from all around the world to be in the heart of the event. Judging from the amount of views and comments, this new feature was a complete success. For those who missed it, the replay of the whole ceremony can be watched on the FAI Youtube Channel.
