WISC project

On Friday August 29, 2014, the FAI Secretary General Susanne Schödel welcomed Baudouin and Christiane Litt in the Head Office in Lausanne to present their WISC project.

It is an exciting and competitive indoor air sport event based on new techniques and technologies. Its goal of reviving the love of aviation in all its forms is in perfect adequacy with the current FAI values. Baudouin Litt, a former Belgian Air Force pilot and a long time gliding competitor, recently retired from the USA in his home country. He and his wife have since been working on this promising and original concept, he had been developing for years during his sleepless nights.

The FAI looks forward to exploring the potential of this new type of event. Details will soon be officially disclosed by the inventors of WISC.
